How much should I expect to pay for the coupe turbo lump with all the running gear as you seem to be pretty clued up on the fiat side of things. Is there any one else who could have some input of good help to me aswell because I think it's the only way forward. Also I'd just like to say your bumper look's frickin' awesome. Is that the 306 bumper. How was it to fit.I seem to recall you said a mate did it for you and took a long time doing so.Also a while back mate there was a post about a new kit that a company in Edinborough was importing that looked kinda' jap style.I was wondering if you know of anyone who has got this kit,cos if they haven't then i'm gonna get it.But if they have then i may have to go custom.

The Jap kits being imported by a company called Supersprint (or Superspeed, 1 of the 2)) in Edinburgh, their based opposite the zoo if that helps! lol
Alternatively you could try Ultimate Velocity in Leicester. www.ultimate-velocity.co.uk
As for the bumper i think you've got Ribzz and Big Al mixed up, Big Al has a modified 306 rear bumper.

sorry mate!

Not sure who's is who's on here.Meant to come and meet you guys at trax.Did you go?where abouts were you?

Re: sorry mate!

Re: Re: Re: Re: sorry mate!

No Si Bens on about my 206 bonnet vent.

nice to meet you the other day m8y. Did you manage to meet/ see the rest of the Bravo lot?

Yes Ben the vent took a heck of a lot of times fibre glass and effort to fit, My friend Rob (Jessop Autobodies) did all the work on the side for me

Welcome to the site by the way!

ooops

as for the coupe Turbo 20v Turbo conversion,

You'll need the whole front end of the Coupe, which will cost you about £1000 to 1500 from a salvage yard.

Then you either a)fit it your self or b) pay a performance garage about £1500 to 2k to fit it.

:)

Re: ooops

hows the retrim going ribzz ? is it finished yet ? i am dying to see some pics :)

have you got any from the front of your car, i havent seen any in a while i have forgotten what it looks like.

ever thought of asking nige to put a few pics of your car in the bravo guide gallery ?

Re: Re: ooops

actually while i am on the subject, how much were your recardo seats ? i have never priced up seats before, what would be a good price ?. Because i will be going for a black/dark green retrim next year i was thinking i could just buy black seats that way save a bit of cash on the retrim, also i can buy black carpet instead of the god awfull grey effort i have at the minute and fit that myself, so all i would want to have trimmed is the rear seats dash and centre console (gear stick, handbrake area) which should be less then a grand right ?

location

I'm in a small village called morton in lincolnshire. Not too far from Peterborough.Bout 20 miles.Probably closer to Grantham.Much appreciated the advice on the turbo conversion.Should hopefully start the project after crimbo. Will be looking on the rally spares for the diff and axle etc. off a lancia delta.I can always get stuff engineered to fit.Am just a bit worried about it twisting the chassis with all that power. Also i think i will go for NOS aswell.Just want a balls out bravo that will dick on everything. Will probably have to get launch control from demon tweeks aswell to hold it on the road. What do you guys think?answers on a postcard!

Re: Re: Re: ooops

For a nice set of 2nd hand Recaros you are looking at about 250-300 quid as good ones hold there value pretty well.

best thing you can do is keep an eye on the free adds for some and you may drop lucky and get some dirt cheap!

I had a friend who had some for sale and I was in the right place at the right time so I picked them up very cheaply in immaculate condition too!

I'll keep my eye out for a set for you

where abouts do you live?

Re: location

thanks ribzz, not something i will be looking at right away but more in the long run, i have speant £1300 on my car already and i have only had it since march :) but like i said in my other post i am going to be doing everything at once next year so i will be after the seats after christmas time. i apriciate the offer and if u know any going cheap i may be able to squeese my wages a little more then i already do :)

i live in Hull, East Yorkshire

Ben,i made a few enquires once & i was qouted 4-4.5 grand if i wanted a coupe lump (fiat dealer price) fitting aint so hard, but remeber to upgrade braking system, there are several other parts need changing but hell, for all the shite, save the wedge and get a HGT, put on a good exhaust and remap then blert about in it,saving a good few grand, the turbo would be good if there was a 4 wheel drive conversion for the bravo (but there isnt,at least we can dream) ;)
