General Expensive month

Car insurance quote received. £280 is a right rip off for a car only worth £2k and someone rapidly approaching 40. I then noticed that my front tyres are illegal and I've just been informed that work forgot to dock my paternity pay from earlier in the year so they are taking it this month! Budget tyres it is then! I wonder if it would be cheaper to get fined for having no insurance, seems that way when you watch Road Wars!

Price you pay has nothing to do with the value of what your driving, and in in fact very reasonable compaired to what a lot pay!

Mine was £330 fully comp..not protected though..that was the cheapest by a mile! Next quote was £430!! Pay less for our smax...work that one out?
Tyres can be had for £50 a corner new from formula 1 autocentres if u have one near you..check their website for offers and vouchers..

I always buy budget tyres as I'm a tight git.

On my multi I've got Autogrips. Some Chinese brand which after 2 years on hardly show any wear. All 4 only cost £158 from a local tyre place close to where i live which included fitting.

Part worn tyres do the trick 25 quid each and as for insurance had my multipla years first insurance was 2k on it now its1200 so u got it cheap

You must have done something to upset the insurance companies for sure.

Need to be a bit choosy with part worns, £25 a corner is fine but you need more than 50% tread as £50 gets you a new tyre, bargain bin but new.

£280 sounds good my mate is 36ish and has just paid £750 to insure his multipla mine is on my traders policy so I cant say what it would cost me.
