Need a new rear muffler and I’m considering upgrading from factory. Would appreciate any thoughts on aftermarket alternatives that might be available. Thanks.

Quite a few of us vintage spider owners run the "Ansa" twin chrome tip muffler in place of the stock rear muffler...it adds a bit of a nice low tone with out being too loud...some of us make other mods to our exaust for performance and letting our motors breathe better..
Depending on the state you live in its best to make sure of any changes you make won't disqualify you if you have to be inspected as a licensing requirement ,
I'm in a state that doesn't inspect anymore :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m not subject to testing either and I’ve read good things about the Ansas. Would like to pick one up but I’m having trouble sourcing one online. Im all ears if anyone knows a source.

This is what your looking for....
Midwest-bayless.com.
Says they are out of stock at the moment...seems a bit pricy though, shop around but if you come empty you can put yourself on a wait list until they have them back in stock....try ebay, or Google it, or try your favorite A.I.
