What is the best exhaught to get for the 1.6 16v?

Want to get a powerflow system but I want the best for performance (or are they all the same)?

Think that I have asked this before but what make do you have and does it give a nice note out?

Briggsy, R'b got a Powerflow, and it sounds brilliant. Really nice and throaty.

The problem with Powerflow exhausts is that their not performance tested, their just made for looks. I've got friends who have lost power after fitting Powerflow exhausts. Best idea is to get a rolling road test done so you know what bhp you've got. Go to Powerflow get them to fit an exhaust and say if it doesn't increase that power figure you want a discount, then get it re-tested and take a look at the results.

It's difficult to tell, as companies like: Magnex, Supersprint, Scorpion, etc don't tend to advertise power and torque figure increases.
You could try giving each of the companies a phone to see if they can or will tell you.

I tried most of them... including Magnex, Scorpion, Ansa, etc. etc. when looking for a stainless CAT-Back for my 1.6.. and guess what?

They either don't do Bravos or they only do the HGT

In the end it came down to a Supersprint which isn't stainless or a Powerflow... Or for the big bucks there's the Ragazzon system but that works out at £350-600 plus VAT & delivery & fitting.

The only other option I think someone on here has done which is a Powerflow mid section and a different make Back Box such as Sebring.

Think i'm going for the Plowerflow system in the new year...

Sorry just found this post and wanted to put some input.

Like Si says the thing about powerflow is thery are not always gonna make the car faster they will do more often than not though.

The sound form my exhaust is very nice and throaty and if I were gonna do the exhaust bit again I'd have got a Scorpion backbox and had a custom pipe made for it.

When I had the powerflow done in the summer I almost did just that but I went for the powerflow in the end.

The other thing is every one has a poerflow! be different!
