Technical Exciting new noise when driving. Ooooooooh.

So, I kinda noticed it the other day, but only paid attention today.

It gets quicker when the car does. I cant see anything touching the wheel. Sounds like its coming from the drivers side, rear wheel area.

Anyone know what it might be pls? Ty.

Best you can hope for is a small stone trapped in the treads

Park up and gently roll your hand across the whole width and surface of the tyre that's accessible, then roll the car forward 1/2 a wheel's turn , and check again (This will catch the bit that was sat on the tarmac in the first check)

oooh this is a really good way to do it. ty. im hoping for a stone, as our road was redone the other week, and you have to go slow cos of stones, as they havent gone back over it yet.

The frequency of the tick , at the road speed shown in the video was an instant absolute dead giveaway, you'll know next time if you hear that regular 'tick tick tick' what to go and look for.
