Well, so I've been a bit stupid! I'm planning to put some vinyl wrap on my steering wheel controls surround last night and in doing so, I plugged a hair dryer in the cigarette socket (car was idling) but never switched it on! after about 10mins, I realised this was prob a bad idea so unplugged it (to research another method)
Anyway fastforward to this morning whilst heading to work, I had a real scary moment when I was pulling out of a junction and the EPS failed! Luckily, the oncoming traffic was quite a way back and it happened pretty close to work...
Will a battery recharge sort this out, perhaps a long journey (I'm making a longish one tonight) sort it out?
Most of the prev posts have blamed the battery... but should I take it as this or go to the dealer?
