Eper cd on eBay?

Ive seen this on ebay. Im not hot with computer stuff but am I right on thinking that this cd has ALL the part numbers for fiat and Alfa models? Has anyone eles got one of these? And Is it worth the £15 asking price?

Depends on the version as to whether or not it will have everything. Can you post the item number at least?

Depends on how new a version you're after/getting.

The (free) version on this forum covers up to 2005 (introduction of Grande Punto).

Well, you have to change the settings on your computer, than they work ( again)....!
I have lot's of them, still it is anoying and time consuming....!
I'd rather use the one here...!!

You have to install software that comes with it on your computer.
After 12 months it just says:" expired, get the latest version".
So you have to adjust the time settings on your computer every time you are using an expired Eper CD/dvd.

The date is checked because eper incorporates a price list, when prices change they issue a new eper.

Some of the ones work OK, others don't.

THere's no way of telling what you're getting.

Plus, if you go to any reputable dealer or independent for your parts, they'll have a working copy of ePer. So, I don't really see the point. (Sometimes the diagrams are usefful.) Your average motor factor's can't do anything with FIAT part numbers.

There are other ePers on line, as well as the FF one.

Well the reason I was interested was that I thought it would be useful to cross reference parts with other cars across the fiat group range such as for instance I found a really cheap genuine fiat oil filter for a coupe 20v on eBay and wondered if it fitted my 2.4 20v.? Not really bothered about a price list just interested in part numbers?

You can use it for that purpose.
When it is expired, you have to ( temporarily) change the time settings on your computer, that's all.

If it matches the Fiat part number reference, 46808398, then it should be ok.
