engine wont start!

hey,my old bravo 1.4 is up at my uncles and after the crash i had wif it the engine still ran but the radiator was gubbed so it heated up very quickly,after afew months gone by hes tried 2 jump start it cuz the batteries flat but it wudnt work,he finks it mite be becuz iv taken the cd player out :s is this a problem?? i realy dont understand why it wudnt start wif out the cd player in it,sumfin 2 do wif the ecu?? very confused ppl

i had my head unit out 4 a couple of days when i fitted a new 1 & i never had any trouble mate. GOOD LUCK
