... Hello Guys,
I have just had the engine changed over from my old 'P' reg Ulysse to my recently purchased 'N' reg Ulysse.
Both are 2.0L Petrol (Manual).
There is one connector that we cannot find where to connect to (Even though I took photos of the en
gine wiring from before removing the harness in the engine compartment).
The connector that I am referring to is a black plug and Purple/lilac inside (Please see attachments). It come from the same harness as one of the two round, screw on plugs that attach to the side, by the fusebox in the engine compartment.
The engine turns but does not fire. I can't even here the "Pump" noise when I turn the ignition on (If you know what I mean?). It is either that my current Ulysse ('V' Reg) is a noisy thing? lol.
As always, Your help is apprectiated.
Many Thanks,
Welshy.
PS. It wouldn't be because we disconnected the ECU, would it?! - I don't think so, but you never know.
Oh, The reason I changed the engine was because I pruchased the 'N' Reg, with the Big Ends gone (after taking the sump off etc, it was the Cam shaft that went too - Badly). I have the 'P' reg for parts, since I took it off of the road, and decided to swap the engines over.
