so can anyone tell me if it is safe to have your engine jet washed?

i need mine doing before i do the rocker gasket ( thanks beau), but is it safe to do, dont want to damage the motor any further.

i've also been quoted £120 to have me rear, and rear passanger windows tinted, is that cheap?

Dont pressure wash your engine it can lead to all sorts of unnecessary problems.

Yep we aint dealing with the old time engines any more and have to consider all the sensors that modern cars have ..this could cause you a major headache if you get that lot soaking .. welcome to the forum mate and to our site as well

As long as you don't go crazy and jet directly onto the engine etc, it should be fine.

Cheaper than tinting, plus you have the option of removing them too?!
