Hi,
I own a 2002 Lancia Ypsilon bought new here in Spain. The car is Norwich blue but was 2 toned before delivery at my request by the dealer with a pale blue from Toyota as Lancia did not have any suitable pale blues at the time. At the time the only model available off the showroom floor was the 60hp 1.2 8V. The 80hp 16v was special order only with at least 4 months wait. The 60hp has always been too slow but I love the car and I don't want to part with it and it's now time for an engine upgrade. The car is a shortened Fiat Punto and as such a 130hp Punto HGT should be a fairly straight forward swap, but I'm after an automatic gearbox. Anyone know if the 140hp from an Fiat 500 Abarth auto could be made to fit or perhaps a 120hp from an Alfa Mito Selespeed?
