im having a fe thoughts here from looking at it a 1.4 8v is sill a fire engine so would a crank and head fit from a 1.2 8v reason i ask is that ive got a lightened flywheel matched to my crank and what should be a well built up head so i could get a 1.4 8v put everything on it and fit it to my cento with more power and torque would this be correct

isnt the 1.4 mainly a 1.4 because of different stroke? if so changing it to 1.2 crank be no good

As he says. Few people have done any serious work on the 1.4 8v, so it's pretty much virgin territory. I did hear of 2 Poliski ones which went phut, but have no details.

I would stick to the 1242.
