Engine swap

Will a 1.6 16v (r-plate) marea engine fit into a p-plate bravo (originally also 1.6 16v) without having to change wiring etc?

Also, the 'doner' engine has been sat for about 2 months or so without a bonnet on, therefore it has been rained on.. will this be a problem?

Engines are exactly the same so will drop straight in.

Rain will more than likey have caused damage to the electrical components, so unless you plan to change them too, you shouldn't have many probs.
