Technical Engine mount

I've had some problems with my car to say the least but most of all the vibrations coming from the engine shaking the whole car. To me this engine mount doesn't look all there, surely the MOT should have covered this along with the headlights misted up due to the back of it not been on properly

Thats a big split on the side there....

To me id grab another mount of a scrappy - there cheap enough

But there are 3 holding the engine
Ones under the battery tray
Ones visible on the left
And ones under the car holding thr gearbox to the subframe

Yeah I've sourced one so going to replace it today if possible.

Surely MOT should have covered this

A while back I took my eye off the ball for a bit. I assumed that because one brake pad set lasted x miles that the next set would do similar. The car passed it's NCT with flying colours and a week or so later a front pad, worn to the quick, made a bolt for freedom and locked a front wheel.
The test ticks boxes, nothing more.

Brakea are rolling road tested
Brakes are given a visual inspection if visible

If there hard to see to judge they are worn or not


Remember mot man cant take anything off to inspect
