Technical Engine Making Grinding Noise

Hi I have a fiat 500x 2015 4x4 diesel auto. I am getting a grinding noise coming from left downward every 20 second or so. The noise lasts for about 10 seconds. Any ideas what it could be?

It makes the noise even when the engine is turned off. It stops doing it after about 10 minutes of the engine being turned off. I've attached a video. As above engine is off. Thanks in advance, Ross

I meant to also say the battery light has came on and the stop start. When I toggle through the menu it says the battery 3 quarters full
