General Engine light flashing

Hi

I have been driving my brand new 1.2 Sport for 2 months and it has been all fun and games until today. As I was overtaking on the motorway at 140 kmh the yellow engine light started flashing and I suddenly lost speed. I pulled over and stopped the car and then carried on at 100kmh max and it didn't happen again.
I phoned Fiat and they told me to bring it in tomorrow. Anyone know what it could be? Just so I am armed with some info tomorrow (I have no idea about cars). Also do you think it is safe to drive? The lady on the phone said it was fine but I´m not convinced. I have to do 70 kms tomorrow before taking it to the mechanics.

you are under warranty so its fine. if they hook it up to diagnostics they will see the reason for it = )
