My car has been stationary for a couple weeks due to waiting to get the exhaust fixed. However I have been starting it up and letting it run every couple of days so that the engine and car doesn't seize up.
I tried it yesterday, however it the engine wouldn't start. I turned the key and it was trying to ignite but just wouldn't. The diagnostic test showed U1600 as the problem code which is a key/ immobiliser problem. Spare key would just do the same.
Does anyone know how to check the antenna or anything else to try resolve the issue?
Its a Fiat Stilo 1.2 02 plate 3 dr
