My 2006 Doblo 1.9 Multijet Family shows 'glowplug failure' (with no loss of power but the occassional difficult start), and also shows 'Engine Failure' with loss of power. Is this something to worry about? The car has done 76,000 miles but has a full service history with the last service a FULL one. I've read about similar problems with other Fiats, is there a quick fix for this one?

Worth spending £35 on an EOBD Code reader to see what that reveals. A dealer will charge you for a check on Examiner. I'd say "get it looked at" before the problem being reported has time to get worse.

Welcome to the forum :)

If it is glowplug failure, starting is all it will affect as all they do is help to warm the cylinders to aid initial combustion, they do nothing while the car is running.
Based on the errors though, and from reading a few similar threads recently, I'd be looking at a potentially duff battery. As said though, get the codes read and see where to go from there.
