engine change???

Any of you good foke out there know what the possability of an engine change is? Got me a 1.2 but just but curious to know if anyone ever did anything insane to a bravo engine.Would settle to know if it possable to put a bigger engine in my bravo eg 1.6 gt

Engine, gearbox, exhaust, cooling system, wiring, driveshafts... its not just a case of swap engine.

Just buy a bigger car

spend £1500+ putting in the 1.6 and you will still have a slow car

rover 216 coupe - now VTEC.

should be running 150BHP when the fueling is set up correctly on the rolling road.

not going to be blisteringly quick but the ratios are rather short and will hopefully 1/4 mile in around 15.7 secs

lol no i just dont think 1.6's are slow!ive been in a 1.6 before and i used to have a hgt! ah well, never gunna meet up to prove otherwise so we'll stay with our own opinions eh!

no idea how a 1 ton 1.6 100BHP bravo can keep up with a 1 ton 150 BHP car with shorter ratios.

Think your using novamaths - there is virtually no simple mods you can do to make your car any more than 100BHP!

you can remap them to 140 or something pls a couple for a powerflow, NOS can boost it a bit and an can get a whole 1BHP from an induction kit! lol! bearing in mind they are 105 BHP to start with! got my book in front of me!

Sparkey, stop taking bullshit please and stop being a total nob.

You can remap the 1.6 to about 110-112 and thats it. Powerflows are badly designed so might even loose you a couple of BHP.
