hi lads, just wonderin if it is possible to fit a mk1 or mk2 uno turbo engine in a standard mk2 1.1 60. i no will need engine, box, wiring loom, ecu ect.. but is it a straight swap or are there other mods needed. cheers

I would guess so, the car is the same, but you would need the 1.4 engine/gbox mounts.
prob worth putting new rubbers on them at the same time! and replacing all the vacuum hoses as well

Technically yes, though you really need to swap ALL the Uno Turbo specific parts into your mk2 1.1 shell including suspension and brakes. Don't forget that as yours has the FIRE engine all the mounts and most of the wiring are different. Find a rotten turbo and you can have a nice conversion carried out. Fro$ty on here did exactly that to a 45 shell as did DuncUnoturbo, and Faster4 (above) is probably going to find a base model Uno to re-shell his turbo as well.
