Ive been reading some of the past posts about painting engine covers etc.. and there are so many different opinions that im not sure what one is right. Can somebody clarify if it is ok to use the colour match paint from halfords for this or if you need to use different paint?

well since the heat from the engine can raise up and heat up the plastic cover on ur 1.2, id think that if u prime it with a heat protector spray, the ull be alright to use colour match. but someone wight know better than me

just spray it and use a primer, and lacquer, you sorted the v5 problem out yet why its showin in her name, well weird that 1!!
