Technical Electrical problem

Hi, I have a problem and i'm hoping someone here can help me out with it.

Marea Weekend W/reg. For some reason when I turn off the ignition the fuel needle and the temp gauge needle do not drop they stay in position as if the ignition is still on, also the Mileage LED is still visible however not as bright when the igniton is on.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated

possibly something backfeeding from the terminal 30 12V supply (constant 12V from battery) to the terminal 15 ignition switched supply. have there been any modifications or a new radio fitted ?. do any other lights e.g batt light stay on ?. pull out the cluster and check supplies are as per wiring diagrams. If ok, then cluster may be faulty.
