Technical Electric shock

Don't know if any of you will know but I've been getting electric shocks everytime I close the door anyone know how to fix it?

I use the car for deliveries... in and out the car a good 300-400 times a night... I was genuinely about to post the same thing tonight! Been that bad I close the door with my elbow every time... please inform me of how to solve this!

Lmao, I don't think I've ever had an electric shock from a car. It seems you're getting a work up of static from the clothes you're wearing. A quick tip is to touch a metal part of your door before getting out. You will earth yourself against the car then.

I get this in my gym clothes, I can see the spark from my finger across to the car lol

Even wearing some jeans and a hoody...
You always dread filling up the tank... arcing at a petrol station isn't the best situation to be in.

I've been getting them in the last few days. Apparently atmospheric humidity makes a difference.

Get it no matter what I'm wearing when I get out it will just constantly zap me I'll brush my elbow on the door and I'll get one then I'll close the door touching the plastic panel and I'll get one. Just stated closing it with my foot now. But you raise a very good point about the petrol station if you hear about an incident in the Yorkshire area it's probably me haha

Just fit the strip, and you'll be fine, no more shocks etc.
