Technical Egr

I wonder if i can just rip out all the egr stuff. In my country the co% is measured at idle rpm. The egr only works somewhere between idle and full throttle and not at idle and full throttle so that should be allright. Will i be allright ripping it out or will it cause more trouble than it's worth (0.3Hp). ???

I can't remember my Tipo having any sort of EGR.

Remember the TD did as a method of speeding up the engine getting to operating temp.

the 5 door sedicis have the EGR, the 3 door ones don't. surely it's not really needed?

I know a fair number who removed it (5 doors have it rob) Obviously you have to blank off both ends or plug the hose.
