As part of my ongoing problem " stopped in wet weather " listed in the Forum,
.....I have been trying YouTube for ideas.
I think I tried fiat 2.0 Hdi ecu problems.....and clicked on several things.
There is a good/interesting 15 mins on Turbos and EGR's......apparently the return exhaust flow into the Turbo COOLS it, and prolongs it's life, and the programme suggests blanking off the EGR will have little benefit for potentially an expensive turbo replacement.
I haven't done it yet, but cleaning my own EGR is on my things to do list. If it sticks, then .......
