Hi folks iam new to this site but i need some help ,i own a croma 150 which has done 18000 miles i got when it had done 10500m ,for a while it was good to drive then the engine light came on thats when the dealer said it will need a egr valve but that did not make it any better so they changed the air flow meter still not right know they have put on a inlet manifold & injetors ,better but still not right i think its still a faulty EGR any thoughts please:confused:

This sounds very odd. Looking at your post the dealer appears to be going round the houses to find the problem. It could be that they have done everything 100% by the book and good standards in which case they should be contacting Fiat Technical to help them resolve the problem.

I suggest you ask them if they have contacted/consulted with Fiat Technical Sopport.

Fiat dealers have an amount of freedom to diagnose, work on and bill Fiat. On the customer's side we want a single call, 1st time fix.

I personally would start to raise the pressure. Press your dealer and advise them that you are inclined to take the matter up with Fiat UK if they don't resovle the problem a.s.ap.

In some respects I feel for the dealer on "tricky" problems but I also know they have Fiat UK to fall back on AND pressurise to help them sort the problem. Sometimes a little and polite kick is required.
