For those looking for the Pierburg EGR Valve (Pierburg P/N: 7.000.63.10.0) that replaces all previous versons of the Croma valve and is the same as the latest Fiat/GM 55215031 valve then I would warn you that Pierburg UK have nill stock till end September 2010. There are some supplies due in shortly but they are all pre-ordered stock.

No doubt Fiat UK probably have stock (but at £168+VAT). Most GM dealers appear to carry stock 'on-site' and current price is £133 including VAT.

Most indepenent motor factors/outlets rely on direct or semi-direct Pierburg supply.

Cheapest price I have found is £95+vat (£112) but no stock till Pierburg UK have stock.

Based on other quotes I have received, most with no stock availability, then the GM Dealer route is probably the best bet and price to get the EGR valve at this point in time.

Hope this info helps those needing an EGR valve before October 2010.

Bought mine from Flea bay £45 inc posting, brand new and in box. Had to wait a while before it came up though.

There is a guy on there selling recon valves for £50.

There appears to be regular supplies thro eBay - but (obviously) the sellers only put-up one-at-a-time for multiple buyers to chase, otherwise the price levels would fall. Not all are described as FIAT - so buyers may have to search via Alfa, Saab, Vauxhall etc, or use the part No.

A search now (23:44) using [55215031] shows-up 10 *new* available.
