General ECU issue Scudo 2010

Hi got a Scudo 2010. Had changed the ERG valve as I was getting the anti pollution fault, then it turned out it was the ECU that was goosed. Changed the ECU with a used reconditioned and reset one and now still getting the same anti pollution fault and light engine management stays on constantly but it doesn’t seem to affect it’s driving, speed or anything else. Any suggestions as to how I can get that pesky light off? It has been cleared a few times but it keeps coming back. Grrr Thanks in advance. I should say I’m up in Scotland.
