General ECU and BSI

Hi I'm hoping that someone will be able to point me in the right direction..

I have a bravo 1.9 diesel 150. and after a long time an auto mechanic said they the bsi had gone but they I would need to replace both the bsi and the ecu to get the car up and running again..

could someone point me where I would find a new one as there are not many is any on eBay

and help would be great

Need to be a bit more specific though - trying to save you some cash here
When you turn the key to start the car what exactly happens?
Errors on the dash?
No power to dash at all?
Starter turns but no fire?
Tries to fire but never catches?
