Eco Drive / Blue & Me

Hi All,

I'm doing a bit of research on Eco-drive / blue and me before I finally commit to buying a new punto later this month.

From what I've read so far there seem to be quite a few mixed opinions on eco-drive with things it does well and some things it doesn't do quite so well.

I'd really like to know your thoughts on this particularly the kinds of things my dealership isn't going to tell me. E.g. the frustrating bits and the things it's missing.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I have seen more negative feedback regarding eco drive than I have positive.

Its a good idea but fiat/microsoft never seemed to go anywhere with it, it had good potential

The PC software is a bit junky or fails to work quite often, the data you get out is interesting but its gets tiresome having to plug your USB pen in and out of your car and PC all the time, it gets a bit gimmicky very fast.

I used it for a couple of weeks and got bored of it very quickly.

If you are going for a brand new punto and have the option of blue&me/eco drive I wouldn't say it was worth it as a factory fitted option
