I am gonna try and sell my old 17s on ebay for whatever I can get for them but does anyone know how I would go about the postage of them etc?

Or do you have any other suggestions how I can do it?

Local Collection only

if you do local collection only you will be seriously limiting the number of people who can buy from you.

If I use Link or UPS what should I put for postage and packaging since I don't know who will buy it (and thus where it is to be delivered to)?

You'll have a TNT, LINK or INITIAL depot nearby. If you take a wheel, weigh it on their scales (times 4 obviously) they'll give you a cost and probably a radius covered by their despatch.
