General ebay rip offs... be careful!

Been trawling through ebay for genuine stuff for 500s, granted there are a few sellers advertising at just below Fiat prices, but... have seen many items for sale way above Fiats own prices, for instance the Italian wing badges are £30.43 on the Fiat site and some are on ebay for £36.99 and being advertised as below list price!!!

Always check the Fiat price first, given time I expect some stuff will be way cheaper as I reckon a lot of stuff will stay in the dealers stock unsold

What out for Stoneacre......

Bid on (& won) a chrome bonnet strip that they "had", when I called them to pay it was not in stock.

"you do know there is a shortage of these don't you" I said to them "No there's not" was the reply.

Anyway, I then gat an e-mail saying they will be unable to supply as there is a shortage, they still have 98 of them on EBAY though.

I just mentioned it because the London Experience Centre is advertising. "Italian BADGE on front WING" for £18.00. Presumably the use of the singular is significant?

We have found it almost impossible to compete with the ebay sellers on most things as we have an agreement that we only sell genuine FIAT UK sourced 500 items or our own items with the 500 logo.

To be fair to people who may be out of stock of some items, its happened to us already as we were taken a little off guard by the popularity of some items, especially the clothing. The fleeces sold out almost as soon as they hit the shop, leaving us a little embarrased, so apologies to anyone who is waiting delivery of a fleece, but they will be sent out next week (I am knitting as fast as I can go you know.... lol!)
