Could Anyone Tell Me Where The Earth Is For The Indicators And Wiper Motor On My Fiat Uno. Its A 45 Fire, Year: 92/93. I think They Need Cleaning As They Have Caused A Couple Of Problems. Thanks Wayne

do you mean on the tail gate or front
the 4 pins on the tail gate can give trouble if the earth gets bad it melts throu the plastic block containing them be sure tho keep them clean with some braso
not sure about rear indicators
if you mean front i buileve they both have dedicated earths to the fuse box if not just try folowing the wiring harnesses untill you come to an earth there is 2 coming out of the harness onto the back of the gearbox i beleive one for the various sensors on the throtle body and the other may be the one you want

I have had two problems with the earth on my car so far in the past month. the first was with the indicators so to save looking for it which would take forever haha, i put in a new earth in. Then about two weeks ago my wiper on the front stopped workin and i have narrowed it down to a bad earth 'AGAIN'. I am going to put in another earth for the wiper but wanted to know if the problems could be connected. If i knew where the original earth is for my indicators and wipers i could clean them up. I will check where you have said and will let you know.

Well Folowed Earth From Battery Came To Batery Tray First Area To Look At Remove And Clean This Bolt It Then Goes To The Gearbox For Engine Earth Dont Wory About This If Your Engine Works
Also From The Battery Tray Another Earth Went Into The Harnes I Supose This Is The One Which Earths The Front Lights And Stuff Like Cooling Fan And Posibly Your Wiper Motor Also As You Folow It Towards The Left As You Stand Infront Of The Car It Comes Out Again And Bolts Onto The Shell On That Side Aswell
I Recon Give All These A Clean With Some Emery And Youl Be Good Again
Mainly The Conector At The Battery Tray As This Seems To Be The Earth For Everything Else Conected To The Harness At The Front Of The Car
Rear Lights Are Simply Earthed To The Shell And Rear Tail Gate Stuff Seems To Have A Wired Earth In The Harness From The Batery Tray Also

I Cleaned All Mine And My Head Lights Are Briter Now Also The Engine Seems To Turn Over Faster After Cleaning The One On The Gearbox
Give Them All A Good Squirt With Wite Grease Or Coper Slip Before Perlacing Them To Stop Them Rusting Again

hey, soz havent replied had few problems. not with the car this time lol
luked at a couple of the earths but car has gone in for 'MOT' and havent had any good weather it has just kept on snowing.
