Im trying to find the size of the nuts that go on both ends of the dynamo holding the fan and the pulley on. Ive tried M10 fine but the thread is wrong. Any help please?

Around our way there are companies like "the screw shop" that can supply/match any size and thread you bring to them.
We also have a company supplying taps and dies for odd sizes also, though I understand not required in your case.
Metric threads come in many dimensions 1,1.25, 1.5, 1.75 to the ?(cm , inch ? ) You can go online to compare/check what thread you have.
Another thing I have found is often another nut/bolt on surrounding parts will have a similar thread for you to check with.
 
Is it definitely a Dynamo you are working with and not an alternator as the latter has an M12 fine thread at the fan end.
