Alright guys!

This is my first car, had people kept telling me to avoid Fiat in general (for all the usual reasons), but I just find Punto's to be very sexy :yum:

Okay, first thing's first, the car is a black 2000 (X Reg) Mark II 1.2 60 Active 5 door.

^ Here is how the car looked when I bought it, only major problem being an illegal tyre. After all the snow eventually passed, whilst cleaning the car out for the first time, i found large clusters of mould had developed along the top of the rear seat, the rear offside seat belt, and on the ceiling/headliner (didn't take a picture because I'm not exactly proud of it). Found the problem to be saturation in the rear footwell, and have now dried the car out (mould stains are still there for now :bang:)

^ Threw on 4 new Kumho Solus KH15's, came to £140 inc. fitting. After allowing the nearside headlight to dry out, realised that it was only a temporary fix to an underlying problem. Debadged boot, and removed side door protectors.

^ Installed Kenwood KFC-1761S 6.5" 3 way co-ax's in the doors, and replaced crappy HU from previous owner with a Sony CDX GT230.

^ Gave the car its first PROPER wash when the sun came back out  feel its come out nicely, and stuck on a couple of FF stickers (one on each rear window).

^ Bought some Halfrauds paint and colour coded the wing mirrors...STANDARD. :D

^ Still on the subject of colour coding, did the centre console (not finished yet as I ran out of paint )

So far thats it, getting paid on Friday, so will finish colour coding the centre console, and of course do the door handles. Get a little aerial sorted, stick in some Kenwood KFC-1061S 4" 3 way co-ax's in the rear, get an instrument cluster with a rev counter on, a new nearside headlight (or some angel eyes) and get some xenons for them, and then tint rear lights and side repeaters.

Will eventually get round to whacking some new wheels on, lowering it and getting some colour coded bumpers sorted out ;)

let me know what you think :)

Oh, and POONto because its a 5 door, and more doors=more whores ;)

yh man colour coding ftw, loving the wing mirrors mate look just like mine you done a good job on them..."standard" lmao i had a mate that use to say that all time

Yeh i done say once ran out of paint lol it takes **** trying to find some black fiat paint lol

i actually managed to do the wing mirrors and the top part of the centre console (and primer the remaining part of the centre console) all with one 300ml can of paint, one 300ml primer and another 300ml of lacquer :)

got them from my nearest halfords, think this is the one:

BUMP UPDATE

okay, so I have now tinted side repeaters (they are more like painted ) and rear lights

have also replaced condensing headlight, and fitted xenon bulbs in (MUCH brighter than standard ones, by a mile!)

and also put a beesting aerial on, which looks pretty toss at the minute.

still need to colour code door handles and finish off centre console, as I haven't been to halfrauds again yet.

Kenwood KFC-1061S 4" speakers going in to the fitments either side of the parcel shelf once i have dremel'd the pre cut holes (too small :bang:)

have also detail clayed entire car, never seen such a filthy bar in my life, but it was fun, bilt hamber soft clay is a must (y)
