I have a red cog annd ann orange engine warning and stuck in limp mode with very clunky selection D/R/N on 9 speed automatic on 2020 Ducato.
OBD essentially shows two distinct faults:
P0895 Solenoid "E" Control Circuit Low &
P1DB2 Actuator Supply Voltage A Circuit
Question is,
1. do I replace transmission oil (no idea how) and try to reset error - then drive to commercial service agent for thorough diagnosis and repair?
2. reset error - then drive to commercial service agent for thorough diagnosis and repair?
3. Top up 250ml of transmission oil - reset error - then drive to commercial service agent for thorough diagnosis and repair?
Details:
Transmission Error
error code P0985.
What causes this problem with the Shift Solenoid "E" Control Circuit Low?
Make:FIAT
Code: P1DB2
Definition: Actuator Supply Voltage A Circuit
Description:
The voltage supply circuit(s) for the solenoids and pressure regulators are monitored for open circuits, shorts to ground, and shorts to voltage. If a failure is detected, the Transmission Control Module (TCM) will deactivate the affected power supply circuit and set a corresponding Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) relevant to the fault that was detected.
