Styling Ducato passenger and driver steps

Hi, has anyone fitted a step to aid getting in and out of a Ducato van front doors

How are they fixed to the chassis? I assume that holes have to be drilled to the lower spotweld flange.

The ones I have use three bolts through the flange. There are adjustable 'legs' to brace against the underside of the floor to stop twisting
