Has anyone got any idea how to remove my wheel trims from my Motorhome, they will not come off, I will have to break them to get them off, they are chrome plastic and feel very brittle. I have tried with 4 screwdriver at the same time and they will not budge. I flex them to the point of shattering but they will not move.

Sorted it now, there was no way I was going to break them. I sprayed some penetrating oil in the rim and spun the wheel had a brew and tried again and they came off, they started to crack but didn't I coated the rims with copperslip and re fitted them and they re and re ok now.

Hope the oil doesn't get on to the brake pads.
I usually use an ordinary claw hammer under the rim - like pulling out a nail.

No chance of that only in the wheel rim, they were very tight they would of shattered if I would of tried that. I don't usually bother with wheel trims. In the past on cars I have always left them of once they have needed to be removed, but theses don't look bad and with it being a motorhome it looks good.
