Technical Ducato key pairing

I have a ducato maxi 55 plate, when i bought it i got a remote key and a plain key both keys work fine but the remote doesn't, when i bought it the chap said it needed pairing with the vehicle due to some electrical work being done, does anyone know how to pair the remote with the van ?, Thanks in advance

You need a dealer grade diagnostic Lexia / PP2000 / Diagbox can do it. Lexia requires some stupid password for it can't remembr off the top of my head, pp2000 doesn't though. Professional grade tool like autocom may be able to do it too.
