Technical Ducato cambelt Question.

Hi all,newbie here. I have just purchased a Ducato 120 61 plate with 62000 miles.Can anyone tell me at what milage should the cam belt be changed as there is nothing in my paperwork saying it has been done.

I believe it's every 110,000 miles or 5yrs which ever comes first, personally I wouldn't let it go either, 90-100k & a year or 2 less, but that's my heavy usage preference (when I had the 2.3's)

Ok, thank you rolopolo. Could you tell me if there is an auto lock function when you start driving on these vans. Ive only had the van 2 days and trying to learn about it as its my first fiat.

If it has it, it will be in the menu (buttons on dash to right of strg wheel) adjust with ign on but not running,

I have a ducato 120 with 294,000 and have done 2 cambelt changes so far and 1 coming up, I do mine at 110,000 but will be changing the water pump this time.

When you don't know the vans history I would just change it standing around is as bad as harsh driving in shortening belt and pulley bearings life.
