Im converting my 78 fiat to single point.

where can i find the timing marks?

also, what should the point be set at for a single set?

Any other helpful hints?

Yes it's a 124 1800 I believe..I'm not entirely sure, but there's a little metal "1800" in the glove box that goes somewhere on the car.
 
There should be a timing mark on the crank pulley which will line up with one of three, it can be hard to see but when you find it mark it with tipex or white paint. The bottom mark is 0 deg.
The settings should be as follows- points gap 0.37-0.43mm.
Dwell angle 55deg. Ignition timing at idle (850rpm) 0 deg tdc.
These are the settings I have on my spider and it runs very nicely.
