Anybody tried replacing the DM flywheel with a solid one in the latest 3.0Litre Ducato? Any adverse results?
I've had one replaced under warranty and the new one is making funny rattling noises on sratup on rare occasions. I'm concerned for cost after wty expires.

3.0 did have issues with the clutch - I don't think you would do any worse by replacing the lot with a dry alternative. They shouldn't put dual mass in commercials in my opinion. Most commercial vehicle drivers know how to change gear.

Mine is the auto clutch version. Do you know if that is compatible with a non-dmf setup?

Is yours 'automatic' or are you referring to the way the dual mass operates? (Autos are manual, automatic clutch) In which case unsure TBH.

Yeah. Mine is the "auto" version. I nearly always drive it manually but the auto comes in handy when the wife drives.
