Hi guys,

Having a real problem here, I have 2 leaking driveshaft seals on my Panda and I cannot get the part from Fiat as it's discontinued. (I have the driveshaft where there is only one strap on the gaitor, instead of one each end).:(

Does anyone know where I can get the oil seals? If not, do the driveshafts with the double-strap gaitors (sorry I don't know the technical terms!!:p) fit as they still stock these??

Help!(y)
Thanks

:DOK, for anyone else having this problem, I have been shopping around all morning and finally found somewhere that has the parts.

The driveshafts the the Panda's come in 70mm or 80mm:

Part No's:
# 92601255
# 92601366

The CV to fit could be either of these two.:bang:

The place that stocks these is called Autoworld, 01246 572202 at £9.35 each!

So I may just have my oil leak fixed before Panda Camping!!! (y)

Hi,

First Line make all of the different gaiters if you are still having a problem. You'll find them listed here: http://www.firstline.co.uk/op3/product_set.php?mode=5&type=PV&mmeid[0]=1011&make=Fiat&model=Panda&variant=Mk%20I&subvariant=(1981-95)&engine=1.0&product=Boot%20Kits

You'll just have to work out which one is yours! If it's the one with a nylon bush as on the old 4x4s it will only cure your leak partially as in my expereince they are c**p:eek:

Best BR

That link doesn't want to work properly. Go here: http://www.firstline.co.uk/op3/prod...&variant=Mk+I&subvariant=(1981-95)&engine=1.0 and click on boots.

Those pictures of the boots are exactly what I need,(y) thanks for this site. I hope this will cure the leak, but we'll have to wait and see as never replaced gaitors before!(y)

will let you know how I get on and post up some pics:)

Fiat no longer stock the driveshaft boots?! As in the gaiters that stop oil coming out the gearbox??

If so this is a serious problem for Panda fans as those boots are a regular consumable item and I don't know of any alternatives... :(

This is the picture from Fiat Dealer that I was sent.

I will post a couple pics of my cv boots tonight. :)
