Hi all. 17 years ago i became an owner of mk2 punto by chance and as luck would have it, i got a reliable 1.2 16v which served me well for 6 years. During that time i learned of a special line of those small hatchbacks and i said to myself when i could afford a 2nd car, it would definitely be a sporting =). Dream came true... has some mileage on it, pretty beaten up from the outside but it drives straight and the engine is quite well preserved for a 20yo car.
I came here primarily to ask a favor. Previous punto had 7x15 rims on them when bought, also didthis one. I never had problems with road worthiness on the previous one, i did one this one though. I was never familiar with tuning and procedures that go with it. It turned out that previous had all the papers, this one does unfortunately not, as i painfully learned through a 200€ fine. I went to local homologation office and was told i needed a tuv for those wheels. Can anyone help me with that? Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Side note. I do not drive with them, i only put them on for homologation purposes. I went and bought original rims and standard 185/55 tyres until i resolve the issue and get those properly homologated for the road.

You would need to find the manufacturer of the wheels, find out the model of the wheels, find out if the wheels where ever tuv tested and a certificate issued. Then get a copy of the certificate .

First thing examine a wheel for makers mark and model/part number

Thx for the suggestions, wheels are Fox though made in Italy back in 1996 😱. They do not have homologation as shown in reply 😭 if i understood correctly. Do not know what to do apart for throwing them away. Color combo sure does look awesome, would hate to part with them. I will post if i manage to resolve the issue.

Throw them away.
Get some wheels that are legal for your country.
