I have a 2012 3.0L Ducato-based motorhome. After a recent service/not the engine check light came on immediately after start up. The code was P2455 which I cleared. This happened for a few more start-ups. It then disappeared for 2 days. Then happened again.
Obviously I need to check the DPF sensor and its wiring/piping but I have a couple of questions.
1/ where is the sensor?
2/ how do I know if my particulate filter is regenerating correctly? I have never noticed any dashboard light or strange engine operation. Is it the case that no lights and/or error codes mean all is fine?
