General DPF or not???

Hi to all,


I was thinking of buying a 2008 Fiat Doblo 1.3 multijet with only 60 miles.


Can anybody tell me if this model comes with a DPF system or not.


Searched around for info, but the only word I find is that the 85hp model has it



but the 75hp does not. Can anyone confirm this?


The seller is a woman, so I wouldn't expect her to know this information, and I



couldn't ask her to get under the car to check for the DPF cylinder for me.


I suppose its safe to assume that dash warning lighs would come on when



ignition is turned including the DPF light. However, if the doblo hasn't a


DPF system installed, when ignition is turned on, no DPF light should be



present. Is this thinking safe to assume, because if it was, I could ask her to


switch on the ignition and see if a DPF warning light comes on which would


confirm it one way or the other.

Hi,
There is no "DPF Light" as such. Best way to tell is from the full body number or VIN. Get her to take a photo of the data plate under the bonnet. DON'T post the info on here but if you send me a private message with the info or picture I can confirm for you.

do you knos if is it euro 4 or euro 5?
1.3 liter euro 4 don't have a DPF, but euro 5 yes. I have a punto 2011 and it's got a DPF check the page below, remove the spaces
