General Door window channel problem

Hi all. Restoring a G reg and until today all was going well.

However, I took the drivers side door card off today to see why the window guide/channel was moving about and it looks quite bad. I think rusticles have been at work here and the channel/guide has rusted through and the only thing keeping it in place is the rubber seal that the window runs up/down in.

My question(finally) is - Is this part removable from the car so that i can either repair it or strip another one from another door?

The part in question if I have not been too clear is the metal guide that seperates the small glass that the mirror is attached to to the main electric window.

The entire window assembly is removable without too much trouble (or shouldn't be) but where rust is envolved nothing is that simple.

I do remember it being a little tricky to get to but even on terminal cases it wasn't a difficult, lengthy job
