General Does the Bravo Sport come with rain/light sensors as standard?

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and looking to purchase a Bravo Sport T-Jet in the next few weeks. I have a test drive booked for the weekend, so fingers crossed will have found a decent car.

My question is, do all Bravo Sport T-Jets come with rain/light sensors? It's something I've had on my last 3-4 cars, so would ideally be standard spec. I've searched all over to find the answer. Cheers.

Nope, only an option on the Bravo's, which isn't an issue imo as Auto wipers never seem to know when to work properly, and auto lights never turn on in the rain or poor visibility conditions.

I would definitely recommend finding an example with xneon lights, we brought our bravo as cheap run around for the misses and got lucky with one with plenty of options. I was surprised how good the xneons are.. There much better for night driving!

:yeahthat: I've the OEM Bi-xenon HIDs on mine and they're fantastic, won't have a car without them again now tbh

Thanks all for the advice. The car I'm looking at has Bi-xenons, Panoramic Roof, 18" Alloys and Climate, so looks very well specced. Looking forward to the test drive!

Xenon are great. But I've had excellent results with standard bulbs. The projector lamp on the bravo with a set of excellence bulbs from halfords are great. So I wouldn't base my choice of car on the xenon. Though I can imagine it's each to their own and I bet they are great.

I've only seen non-white Bravo Sports on eBay, have I missed one?

I'm not giving anything away on the actual car, as it's a bit of a bargain and I don't want to miss out on it ;-)

i have 2 Bravo Sports, one with that option, one without

it doesn't work very well, better to have the manual control if you can choose

I seriously miss my Astra Design spec which came with rain sensing wipers and automatic headlights. I can say both worked flawlessly and I really do miss them on my Bravo... If anything, the headlights were on a little too sensitive and would come on if I were passing underneath large trees or in a light rain shower but great non-the-less.

Just how they should be tbh. A shame some people don't have the common sense to put headlights on in those conditions :bang:

I run around with my sidelights on regardless, I've upgraded them to nice bright SMD LED ones

It's a 59 plate built in September, so most likely my2010 spec. We're most of those options made standard then?

Yes, mine also has power fold mirrors and the uprated sound system. Check for these, half of them I went to see had these also

Cool, from the pictures I've seen, it seems to have a sub built into the left hand side of the boot. Guess this is the audio upgrade? What other spec can I expect? Does yours have rain sensors and auto headlights? Any chance of there being aux in? Or is it just usb?

HIDs and roof have only ever been optional extra, never part of any standard spec according to the Fiat Configurator site.

Interesting, this might be part of the MY2010 thingy then? I did wonder if any UK Bravo's had these as when I replaced a door mirror on mine it was electric folding one that arrived, I'd order the wrong one

It's was a fiat dealer that told me about the spec being MY2010. In the end I saw 4 of them all 59/60 reg there a nice red one near me on autotrader. Looks to also have aftermarket parking sensors fitted.
