Does something go here? (PIC)

Can someone tell me what is supposed to go into thos slot/port, cos i have put the light/sunroof control back on my car, sunroof works fine, but lights arnt working and i think its cos there is something missing from this, there is nothin g in it and i have three spare wire si have to re hook up to something??

Its for the interior lights. You should have a plug for it somewhere in the roof.

Might sound stupid, but when did you notice they weren't working and secondly do you have any spare wires? Either with or with a connector/plug?

i had a flip down tv there, when i took mine off i broke it so i bought this one from allan wall, yea i have three spare wires that i need to re hook up to it but i need the plug, it was ages ago i took it off so dunno where the plug is, just gonna hve no lights for a while i guess

Put female spade connectors on them and i'm sure someone with a MK1 can tell you which wire goes where. I have a MK2 so no use.

Yea that would be good if you could do that, better than having to use make shift clips

Looking acording the pic you posted, the wires should go, from left to right:

BLACK
RED/BLACK
WHITE-RED
