General Does anyone know the details of 20v t alloys

Hi mrs
Never seen a cinq with 16's, but have seen one with 15's and it was a tight squeeze.
The 15 and 16's are both 6.5 j but I think the later wheels that came with 225 instead of 205 tyres will be wider.
Good luck
PS love to see a pic if you get them on.

All coupe 20VT wheels were 7" wide. The newer cars did indeed have 225 tyres but the alloy width was the same.

I like the last pic best too.

Hi Mrs
Sorry about the duff info, Spunky is absolutly right about the 16" wheels, just the 15's were 6.5
As for your car, the coupe wheels look great but maybe not so great without the brembo's all round.
The last pic looks good to me, funny how the best looking alloys are always the most difficult to clean.

PS nice to know I can fit 225's on my wheels, any thoughts on fitting the larger tyres Spunky?

...225 tyres over 205 - I tried both on my car and didn't really notice a significant improvement in grip on the 225's. Trouble is the 205 were a different make of tyre to the 225 so I can't make a back to back comparison.

One thing I did notice with the 225 is that tramlining seemed a bit worse and the fuel consumption get very slightly worse (1-2 mpg).

Overall, considering the 225's were more expensive, I'd recommend sticking with the 205 fitment [8D]

now for the thickos on here....ET40 is that 40mm offset or does ET40 need to be converted to get the 'mm' figure?

oh and i take it then that the mark on my punto wheels ending in .....'45.5' is also the ET45.5 (45.5mm offset)????

thanks
